MESSAGE TO LEADERS

We Are Called to Serve, Not to Be Served

As men and women of God, as leaders in the Kingdom, we are not called to be served—but to serve.

When Jesus Christ came to this earth, He came in divine form, wrapped in human flesh. Yet, He did not come demanding honor or recognition. He came in humility. He came to serve. He gave His life for sinners. He washed the feet of His disciples—even the one who would betray Him, the one who would deny Him, and the one who deeply loved HiM

That is the heart of true leadership.

God is no respecter of persons. He is love—unconditional, immeasurable, and freely given. It cannot be earned. It cannot be bought. Christ came to serve—and so must we.

We are called to serve the people God has entrusted to us. Serve them with the Word of God. Serve them with compassion. Serve them with truth. Not with judgment. Not with condemnation. But with the unfiltered, unbridled Word of God—delivered in love. Let the Holy Spirit bring conviction. Let Him draw them into holiness, into righteousness, into a consecrated life.

We are called to serve.

The Word says:

Jeremiah 23:1 (KJV): "Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the Lord."

Are we gathering or scattering?

Are we building or breaking?

Are we creating an extended home for the broken—those who’ve never known love, safety, or spiritual covering?

What are we doing as leaders?

May we return to the heart of servant leadership—reflecting Jesus, who knelt low to wash feet before He climbed high upon a cross to save souls.

Let us serve with humility, lead with love, and never forget the sacred responsibility of shepherding God’s people.

Matthew 20:28 (KJV) – “Even as the Son of man came not to be ministered unto, but to minister, and to give his life a ransom for many.”

So we as leaders are called to serve from a heart of Love!
